One of the peacocks in a local artistic display in Highland Park.
Day 137 – Peacock
Day 136 – Kaleidoscope
In Highland Park, they often have displays by local artists for sale to the public. Currently they have dragon flies, toadstools peacocks. This is the rear end of a peacock, made me thing of childhood kaleidoscopes.
Day 135 – Nestled
Nestled among the plants and leaves of someone’s garden, this little clay turtle needs some tlc an some plants coming out of his back

Day 134 – Tools Of The Trade
Working on my buddy’s deck, the required tools of the trade. I even decided to wear gloves for once.
Day 133 – This Old House Friday
Not technically an old house, but kinda sorta. Looking at this, I would guess that it was a house once upon a time, but now it is a local fire station.
Day 132 – Poor Lil Guy
Just walking along the road, this lil guy was hanging out on the floor. I wasn’t quite sure if he was injured or just sitting there. I was able to stroke his back, so I was worried that he had fallen and hurt himself. When I came back later he was gone, so either he had been eaten by then, or recovered!
Day 131 – Beanstick!
Day 130 – Spindly
I was helping my buddy with his deck refurbishment. I showed up the other day to help him repair the boards, the rails and some of the pickets. I was bored awaiting his arrival, so I got the camera out.
Day 129 – Wrigleyville!
The old favourite Wrigley Field scoreboard. Who knows if it will always be here, but it has been for a long time. Old fashioned manual number switching, sweatbox in the summer, manned by old timers who probably lose 10lbs every day! It can’t be beaten.
Day 128 – Spray Game
I took Addison to her first Cubs game. We went early to get the special wrist band for “Kids run the bases”, it wasn’t busy, it rained, they put the tarp on for a 2.5 hour delay, to keep the infield dry, THEN the first thing they did when they eventually took the tarp off, was to rake and spray water on the infield dirt! Go figure!!!
