A budding photographer's daily journey. Trying to find interesting subjects to test my skills in the art every day. Note that the pictures are full size and therefore will take a little while to load on slower connections if you click to "biggie" size them.

Day 246 – Munsters Koach

The Koach, built by George Barris in approx 21 days in 1964, was made from 3 Model T bodies and is 18 feet long. The 133″ frame, brass radiator and fenders were made by hand. It has a four speed manual transmission and a power rear end. The front end had a dropped axle, split radius rods and T springs. It has “blood red” velvet interior, and Gloss Black Pearl paint, and the ornate rolled steel scrollwork took about 500 hours to form by hand.
